More About Spine Health

The physical therapists at Ability Rehabilitation are educated and trained to evaluate conditions of the spine and are committed to providing an individualized treatment plan based on their examination.

Patients are educated by our therapists in specific methods of how to sit, stand, get in/out of bed, bend, lift, and reach properly; in order to avoid damage to the spine. The therapy team instructs patients on how to manage their spinal pain, and teaches patients long term self management strategies for their specific condition.

Proper nutrition, hydration, and exercise are essential to maintaining proper spinal health. The physical therapists at Ability Rehabilitation can help to learn how to recover from injury and prevent symptoms from returning. Teaching patients how to strengthen core and lower extremity muscles, correct postural deficits, and perform daily activities in the proper manner is just the beginning to helping our community restore full functional ability at work and home!
